Desktop Language Packs

HeimerClean Desktop uses English as the default runtime language.

Built-In vs Downloaded Languages

• Built into the app package: English (en_US), Turkish (tr_TR)
• All other languages: downloaded on demand from the language catalog service

This keeps the desktop installer smaller and avoids mixed-language fallback behavior.

Open Language Panel

1. Open Settings.
2. Go to Application > Language and Region.
3. Review the language list and install state.

Download a Language

1. Find the language in the list.
2. Click Download + Use.
3. Wait for download + verification to complete.
4. The UI switches to the selected language after install.

If the device is offline, only built-in languages are guaranteed to be available.

Set Default Language

1. Make sure the language is installed.
2. Click Set Default.
3. The app stores this choice and reuses it on next launch.

Recommended default for stability: English (en_US).

Remove a Downloaded Language

1. In the same panel, click Remove for that language.
2. Built-in languages cannot be removed.
3. If an active language is removed, the app falls back to default language.

Operational Notes

• Runtime fallback base is always English.
• If a phrase is missing in another pack, English text is used.
• Catalog refresh is handled by backend language manifest endpoints.
